Places still available if you run for Alfie….
Alfie’s Trust still has places available for the 5k and 10k run on the beautiful Estate grounds of Balmoral. If you would like to run for Alfie we are asking for a minimum of £50 sponsorship. Alfie’s Trust still has allocated places left if you would like to join team Alfie. Please email email@example.com to register. Further details about the run can be found at www.runbalmoral.co.uk.
It is a great family day out with some exciting new exhibitors and activities this year. Outdoor Discovery will be present with their climbing wall, bungie run and superjumper! Purchase your wrist band on the day to access the new exciting activities – all income from wrist band sales goes to the nominated charities (Alfie’s Trust being one of them). That’s got to be a good deal!
The Castleton Dancers will be performing in the arena and there will be a chance to toss the caber (foam not wood!) with the team from Braemar Junior Highland Games. Grampian Fire Brigade will be on hand to show you around their fire tender and pass on some useful fire prevention tips.
Try out the Street Sports arena with help from the Aberdeenshire Council sports coaches and visit the Waste Aware tent to get your recycling sorted!
With a climbing wall, the Sea Cadets, Scouts, Royal Lochnagar Distillery, Hilton Craigendarroch, RSPB … there is just too much to mention!
After all that activity you will need to re-fuel so we have a number of catering providers to choose from on the event field or you can make use of the coffee shop back at the Castle.
Country Flavours of Alford will also be providing a range of catering services during the weekend activities.
