We have had a busy 3 months of fundraising. We started our fundraising efforts doing a half marathon. Myself (Alfie’s Mum) and 11 volunteers ran 13.1 miles at Crathes Castle on the 17th of September 2011. We had a huge response from the local community and raised a massive £8303.45. This money went to the Archie Foundation at the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital to help seriously ill children in the North East of Scotland. The money was split and went towards a Specialist Nurse for Children’s Pain Management based in Aberdeen and a Wheelchair Loan Service to purchase additional wheelchairs.
